In this project, we transformed the garage of a brand-new property in Banchory, Aberdeenshire, into a functional living space to accommodate the client’s needs for visiting family. The client also envisioned a larger utility area, so we relocated the existing utility room to the rear of the former garage, optimising space and functionality. In place of the old utility room, we created a convenient cloaks area, allowing the client to enter the home from the side—a practical feature for returning from walks around scenic Banchory.

To ensure a seamless look throughout the home, we carefully matched the new windows, internal doors, and utility fittings to the existing specifications. This renovation enhanced the home’s versatility while preserving its original style. All works were carried out by Local Joinery Contractors Sangster & Co.
